Game Boards for Cards

About this Collection

This collection of printable boards can be used with any of the Activity Cards.
They are flexible resources that teachers can adapt for warm-ups, practice, review, or full lessons.

How to Use the Boards

Roll and Move

Students roll a die and move across the board. Each space prompts them to take a card and complete the task before continuing.

Pair and Group Play

Boards can be played in pairs or small groups. This allows for more turns, more interaction, and more speaking practice.

Winning and Scoring

Teachers can set simple goals: reaching the finish, collecting the most cards, or completing the most successful turns.
This keeps games quick, competitive, and fun.

Using Across Levels

These boards are flexible and can be used with learners at any level of the CEFR.

  • At A1–A2, focus on short answers, vocabulary recognition, and basic questions.
  • At B1–B2, extend to full sentences, comparisons, and short dialogues.
  • At C1, use the boards as prompts for debate, extended description, or creative storytelling.

These boards are open-ended resources that grow with your teaching approach, making them a reliable tool for differentiated classrooms.
