Activity Cards

This collection of printable cards can be used across many lessons to add variety and interaction.
They are flexible resources that teachers can adapt for warm-ups, practice, review, or full lessons.


How to Use the Cards

  • Bingo Games
    Use the cards with a caller. Students listen, respond, and mark or flip their cards. Great for listening and quick recall.

  • Go Fish (Modified)
    Adapt the cards for question-and-answer practice. Example:
    “Do you have a ___?”“Yes, here it is.”
    Works for school vocabulary, emotions, jobs, and more.

  • Board Games
    Place cards face-down on a simple board game template.
    Students move their piece, flip a card, and complete a task to continue.

  • Matching and Sorting
    Use cards for memory games, matching pairs, or sorting by category.
    This supports communication, problem solving, and critical thinking.

Using Across Levels

These card sets are flexible and can be used with learners at any level of the CEFR.
It is up to the teacher to decide how to adapt the questions, vocabulary, or task difficulty to suit the students.

  • At A1–A2, focus on simple vocabulary recognition, yes/no questions, and short answers.
  • At B1–B2, extend into descriptive sentences, comparisons, and role-play with the cards.
  • At C1, use them as prompts for extended discussion, debate, or creative storytelling.

These cards are open-ended resources that grow with your teaching approach, making them a reliable tool fro differentiated classrooms.
