This is a bingo game designed for small groups of students, generally working in groups of three or four. This activity is designed for beginner or pre-intermediate EFL/ESL learners and is built around likes and dislikes related to foods.
The picture cards are cut up and place on a bingo grid. The caller card is laminated as one card. The caller calls the sentences and the students listen and turn over pictures. When one students has turned over all the cards the student is declared a winner.
In this game the caller asks the question. If the student has the food they respond with the positive form. If the student does not have the food they respond in the negative.
Ex) Do you like pizza? Yes, I do! (turns over card).
No, I don’t. (leaves cards up)
The cards here can also be used as flash cards for vocabulary recall, or as game cards for any of the game boards that include a card slot.
