This is a task based learning activity (TBL) designed for high beginners or pre-intermediate EFL/ESL learners. The purpose is to make sentences that introduce family members using a basic Subject Verb Object (SVO) format. This helps reinforce sentence structure for second language learners. This activity can be done using one card for a group of students with students trying to see how many sentences they can make. Alternatively teachers can cut out the cards so students can re-arrange the words for a more tactile/kinesthetic learning activity.
