Basic Conversations

These are reading and writing worksheets that can be used with young learners or beginning EFL/ESL students to practice very simple conversations. Most of the conversations are three sentences. Each worksheet includes a large picture with a three to four sentence conversation practicing basic dialogue.  

Using Prefixes

These are simple prefix worksheets designed to help young learners or beginning EFL/ESL students understand the use and meaning of the prefixes re- and un-.

Possessives

These possessive worksheets are useful for young learners or beginning EFL/ESL students to help reinforce the use of the possessives: his, hers, mine, ours and theirs. This includes recognition of name with apostrophe s as a possessive form.

Pronouns

This is a simple collection to help young learners or beginning EFL/ESL students use the pronouns He, She, and They. Students are provided with sentences that have picture prompts to help students match the correct pronoun. Worksheets include scaffolding language in a box with “helpful hints” to encourage success.
